Switzerland's Financial Fair

The Fonds fair is once again the marketplace for knowledge about funds in 2011. Switzerland’s biggest financial fair has been a meeting point for knowledge-hungry investors for thirteen years now. Knowledge has also been described as compact education – and there is plenty of that on offer at the fair. Where else can professional and private investors find so much compact information on the subjects of funds and investments in such a central location and in such a manageable setting? Visitors to the fair appreciate being able to obtain information first-hand from the Swiss and foreign exhibitors and being able to put their questions directly to experts. Exhibitors benefit from their direct contact with visitors to the fair by gaining an overview of current investor requirements and interests.

Where people ask for knowledge, this knowledge should be provided – and it should be tailored to the different needs of the visitors to the fair, where possible. This is why the first day of FONDS’11 is aimed exclusively at professional visitors, with the series of presentations entitled “Highlights for professional investors” having been further expanded for them. On the last day of the fair – as part of the two days for which the fair is open to the public – we will be continuing the investment education initiative entitled “FinanzFITamine – Compact Investment Knowledge”, which was launched in 2010 in cooperation with eminent partners. Throughout the duration of the fair, there will once again be a versatile programme of lectures, presentations and roundtable discussions, providing a framework for imparting knowledge on funds and investments.
